It’s almost time. Every Monday, we’ll look at the team’s regular season schedule for the week. The first week of New Orleans’ NBA schedule features two matchups against teams that reached the NBA playoffs last season. Wednesday’s opener is at 7 p.m. at Memphis (51-31 in 2022-23), followed by Saturday’s home opener at 6 p.m. at the Smoothie King Center against New York (47-35). NBA weeks officially start on Monday and end on Sunday. Week 2 begins against Golden State (44-38) on October 30, the final night of a two-game homestand for the Pelicans.
