Four-star safety recruit KJ Caldwell will officially announce his commitment on April 3, according to Rivals.
Caldwell is a talented safety who has received strong interest from a multitude of programs around college football, including recent offers from Kansas State, Florida State and North Carolina. The rising star currently has Vanderbilt, Miami, Tennessee, NC State and Georgia among his top five schools and Caldwell could continue to narrow down his options before April 3.

A senior at Parkview High School (Lilburn, Ga.), Caldwell is a quick and athletic safety who could prove to be a great addition to the Bulldogs’ secondary if he ultimately commits to Georgia.

Caldwell is ranked as the No. 7 safety and No. 84 overall in the Class of 2027, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is the No. 12 prospect in Georgia.
Standing at 6-foot, 176 pounds, Caldwell is a highly coveted recruit and could quickly begin to make a significant impact for any program fortunate enough to secure his commitment. Caldwell will officially announce his final decision on April 3, as the Bulldogs remain contenders for the future star.

Georgia continues to be in the mix for a number of talented players in the 2027 class, including a four-star offensive lineman. Jordan Agbanoma. The Dawgs have five commitments in the 2027 class, including one from five-star running back Kemon Spell.
