Now that the NFL has released its official guest list for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine (319 names in total), a handful of draft-eligible figures have been surprisingly left out of the party.
While missing the NFL Combine isn’t a death sentence for a player’s draft, it does hurt their chances of being selected in the first round.

One of the big snubs at the 2026 NFL Combine is Indiana edge rusher Mikail Kamara. A key contributor to the Hoosiers’ success, Kamara was a third-team All-American who starred in Indiana’s title run.
Kamara wasn’t the only Hoosier not to receive an invitation to the 2026 Combine. Running back Kaelon Black, who finished the 2025 season as a 1,000-yard rushing back, will not make the trip to Indianapolis.
Kaelon Black has improved his draft stock in the playoffs. Doesn't have great breakaway speed, but excellent vision & patience, plus some key blocks in pass pro pic.twitter.com/DuTfXu426q

A downhill runner, Black runs with good power and impressive footwork. He’ll find a role in an NFL backfield, but the odds of him being better than a late-day 3 pick took a huge hit without a Combine invite.

Wisconsin’s Riley Mahlman is another name circulating on “snob” lists after failing to secure an invitation. Given the NFL’s dire need for offensive tackles with starting experience and the relative thinness of the position group, it would have been nice to see Mahlman compete.
