Tennessee received a 2027 commitment from three-star quarterback Derrick Baker on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect comes out of Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. Tennessee defensive backs Ty Redmond And Dylan Lewis are also from Milton.

247Sports ranks Baker as the No. 37 quarterback in the class and No. 62 in Georgia.
The Vols offered him a scholarship while he attended camp on June 1, 2025. He traveled to Tennessee for a football game against Oklahoma November 1, 2025.
USF was the first school to offer Baker a scholarship on December 5, 2023. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Indiana, Temple, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miami, Pittsburgh, Florida International, West Virginia, Maryland, Wake Forest, Mississippi State, UCF, TCU, Ohio State, AuburnPurdue, Illinois, Howard, Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, UNLV and Colorado State.
Tennessee has four other commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peacecornerback Kamauri Whitfieldoffensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
