Manchester City defender Nathan Ake was stretchered off during the Netherlands’ Nations League match against Germany.
The injury happened just before halftime, when Aké collapsed to the ground with what appeared to be a muscle problem sustained while running.
After being treated on the pitch, the 29-year-old was later stretchered off in tears.
Manchester City fans are now anxiously awaiting news of the nature of the injury.
