The 16 chapter badle continued on Wednesday evening with three other matches in North America.

This is what happened.

Club American 4-0 Chivas

Scorers: Rodríguez 6 ‘, Valdés 45’, Zendejas 65 ‘, Fidalgo 79’

America came out of the traps with a fervent crowd at home, carrying two goals in the first half to jump from advance on the big ones.

A first strike from Brian Rodríguez followed by a dagger of Diego Valdés in the dying minutes of the opening interval made the heads of Chivas.

He went from bad to worse for Chivas after the break when Alan Mozo was sent a few minutes in the second half, adding a major depth to the hole in which they found themselves.

The last nail fell when the USMNT winger Alejandro Zendejas has packed the third of America to put the tie in bed and secure the Mexican boastful rights for the André Jardine team.

But just when you thought that the collapse could not continue, Álvaro Fidalgo has dribbled through the rearguard of the Chivas before breaking the fourth.

The Galaxy 4-1 Herediano

Scorers: Aude 30 ‘, Berry 38’, Pec 55 ‘, Ramirez 76’; González 82 ‘

After a shock in the first leg, the Los Angeles Galaxy returned to the Costa Ricanic Herediano team in the second to book their ticket for the quarter -finals.

It was a one-way traffic of the opening whistle, and the galaxy showed a ruthless that they may miss throughout the opening weeks of the season when Julián Aude and Miguel Berry scored eight minutes from one of the other to start the turnaround.

It was roughly the same for the galaxy after the break, and the star winger Gabriel Pec and really put the tie in bed with the third of the hosts at night before the brand.

The winter signature Christian Ramirez joined the party with his first goal in a galaxy kit, leading to the last nail in the Herediano coffin.

Monterrey 2-2 Vancouver Whitecaps

Scorers: Canales 4 ‘, Ramos 90 + 5’; Ocampo 56 ‘, white 78’

Vancouver Whitecaps won a famous victory over the goals outside in Mexico to knock out Monterrey and reserve their ticket for the last eight.

The hosts, although on unknown land, took the advantage in a flash thanks to a nice touch and a finish of Sergio Canales before the chronometer strikes five minutes.

The unthinkable occurred after the break, because Vancouver showed a raregerian counter which was crowned by Édier Ocampo to put the cat among the pigeons and level things in aggregate.

When it seemed that Monterrey would apply their supremacy once again, they were amazed once again in the last 15 minutes when the USMNT striker Brian White came out of the bench to place the caps and silence the faithful of Rayados.

Although the hosts pulled a level in time to stop at night thanks to a penalty by Sergio Ramos, it was only consolation because Vancouver had the advantage over the goals outside.
